“I first became aware of SpecialEffect when my wife, Louise, was assigned to a SpecialEffect team for the 2010 Walk4Matt. It was clear that the people we met were honest, generous, passionate about what they did – and keen to embark upon crazy challenges to raise funds for their charity! I was lucky to have enjoyed a long and relatively successful professional rugby career. I was able to pursue my dream and play rugby for a living but I am well aware that, for some, the dream that’s pursued is a much simpler one – just to be able to live a normal life.”
