Harry has supported SpecialEffect in numerous activities, helping mainly with PR but also taking part in fundraising events. He helped to manage PR around David Cameron’s visit to SpecialEffect HQ in 2011, pushing the visit into the press. He’s also helped with various other press activities to raise the charity’s profile. As an ambassador Harry has built numerous business relationships for SpecialEffect and continued to spread the word of the work it does as an active member of the UK’s games industry.
Harry ran the British 10k for SpecialEffect in 2012 alongside a semi-clothed man dressed as Blanka, and played for both sides in the SpecialEffect versus Arsenal Legends football match, appearing in both team photos.
“I met SpecialEffect for the first time two years ago and I’d signed up to support them with PR and marketing within five minutes! I don’t regret it, as you can’t put a value on the importance of the work SpecialEffect do. The charity is a real positive for the games industry and I’m very proud to be an ambassador alongside such an incredible group of people.”
