Thank you for your amazing spring fundraising

We’re been blown away by your enthusiasm and generosity recently and simply can’t thank you enough for your support. Here’s just a few of the fantastic events and fundraising feats that have raised so much to help us change the lives of even more people.
- The SpecialEffect logo graced the shirts of Stevenage Football Club in a hard-fought 1-0 win over Blackpool. Huge thanks to Stuart Dinsey, Berkley Egenes, Sally Kevan and all their amazing colleagues at Stevenage FC and Xsolla, who are going the extra mile to fund 50 accessible gaming setups.
- The tyres are still smoking from an incredible day at Donington, where 1,000 people and 400 cars came together for the Supercar Driver Season Opener and raised over £20,000. Thanks to Aimee and the team at Supercar Driver for delivering such a spectacular event.
- Our first SpecialEffect Clay Shoot at The Oxfordshire Shooting School raised over £46,000, thanks to the help of Lucy Cantwell, Nick Jones, Brendon Cross and all the generous sponsors, participants, and volunteers.
- You might recall that last year we supported Ezra through our BubbleBuster program to keep him in touch with his friends and school while undergoing chemotherapy. Ezra and his best mate Alfie took on the HYROX Youngstars Fitness Challenge recently to raise over £5000 for several charities including SpecialEffect! We’re so proud of you!
- We’re also still buzzing from a truly special SpecialEffect British Karting Greats event at Silverstone that, thanks to sponsorship from Maverick Games, 505 Games, and Supercell, plus the impressive funds garnered by our generous teams – raised over £40,000.
- And hats off (or on) to Nick Thompson of GT Omega UK for losing his locks for the best of reasons (£500 of them). You’ll be fine, Nick, summer’s coming!
