Magnificent 10k team tame heat to raise over £35,000

A huge thank you to the wonderful 140-strong SpecialEffect running squad for pushing through the sweltering heat to tame the Saucony London 10k last weekend.
The temperature made it tough for all but the earliest finishers and we’re indebted our all our fabulous team in blue and orange for making it to the finish line. You’ve raised over £35,000 to bring inclusion, fun and independence to people with disabilities across the world.
The day was made extra special and extra loud by the largest cheer squad we’ve ever had, boosted by runners that had finished the course.
