Joseph loves gaming, but his cerebral palsy affects his hands and fine finger movements. The small size of regular gamepads make them too difficult for him to hold and use.
For him, bigger movements are better, so our specialist assessment team suggested he tried a combination of larger joysticks combined with eight button switches, all carefully spaced and securely placed on a large Velcro-covered tray in the most comfortable and accessible positions for him.
The loan of this adapted setup has switched his gaming frustration to gaming elation, and he’s really enjoying the freedom to explore and build in Minecraft on his PC. His family are delighted to see him play so independently and effectively as well. “He’s loving it!” said his father.
