Jingle Jam is less than a month away and we could not be more excited to be involved as one of the charity partners for 2026!
Jingle Jam is the worldwide fundraiser that started with The Yogscast in 2011, which has gone on to raise over £30 million for charity. Taking place between 1-14 December, our Jingle Jam plans are packed with festive goodness, and we need your help to fundraise, to stream in our name and to spread the word.

Streamers and Creators
Are you a streamer, a content creator, a video maker who would like to support SpecialEffect during Jingle Jam? We’ve got multiple events you could choose to take part in detailed below, however we understand that you’re an individual likely well established in terms of games you like to play, activities you like to do on stream and how you like to conduct your streams.
As such, we are MORE than happy for you to make your own plans for The Jingle Jam, to play or do whatever makes you the most comfortable. Perhaps there’s a game you’ve been promising chat you’ll play, or a cake you’ve been intending to bake, or some silliness you’ve yet to unleash. Whatever it is, we’ll be more than happy to support you however we can!

Minecraft World Record
As part of Jingle Jam, SpecialEffect will attempting to break a world record in Minecraft, and we need your help! The record we will be attempting to beat is Most Players Contributing Towards a Festive Server Build in Support of a Charity.
To be able to prove our record, we will be holding a 12-hour livestream on Monday 7th December from 12PM GMT to 12AM GMT, where we will be inviting 100 featured creators to decorate their own plot on our festive mega server. We would love the people decorating their plot to livestream them doing so and to invite their community to get involved with the world record attempt.
We’ll also have a secondary instance for general access, where everyone across the world is invited to log on and work on a collaborative build, though this area won’t be streamed. If you would like to be a Featured Creator for our Minecraft World Record attempt, let us know and we’ll reserve you a plot!
Art and Virtual Photography Challenge
Over the first two weeks of December, we’ll be running an “art a day” challenge under #SketchesForSpecialEffect and #ScreenshotsforSpecialEffect.
Whether you choose to stream the creation of your art be it traditional art, digital art, virtual photography etc, or create on your own time and share via social media to take part, everyone is welcome to get involved! Take a look at our art prompt list below and get planning!

Viewers and Gamers
Not a creator but want to find a way to support us during Jingle Jam all the same? You’re in luck! Every year, game developers and publishers support Jingle Jam by donating game keys to support the Jingle Jam Games Collection which you’ll be able to get hold of for a donation of £35 to any registered fundraising page. The games are kept secret until 1st December, but you can expect a collection of 10+ incredible games which you can redeem on Steam for yourself or give out to your friends as an early holiday present.
And we cannot understate just how important your support is when you share the word about SpecialEffect! Whether you turn up to our official streams, tune in to your favourite creators, spread the word about the games collection with your friends and family or simply repost on social, we could not be more thankful for the time you spend supporting us <3
