Tom thought he'd never be able to play again

Tom was a keen gamer until his progressive condition meant that he didn't have the strength or movement to handle a standard games controller. He came along to our games centre in Oxfordshire and our team worked with him to harness what small finger movements he had. And here he is enjoying Call of Duty again.

"Tom is absolutely delighted," said his occupational therapist. "He thought he'd never be able to play his PlayStation or computer games again."

This year we have to increase our fundraising by a third to £750,000 to meet the demand for help for people like Tom. We'd love to welcome you to join any of our fantastic fundraising events, or you can simply donate. Thank you for whatever support you can give.
