Online inspiration gets Katie back in the game

Sometimes a bit of online support does the trick. Gav just got this from our friend Katie - she couldn’t get her adapted one-handed controller to do what she wanted, so after swapping a few emails we identified an adaptor that would solve the problem. Posted it off to her as a loan, and it seems to be a success:

“After a brain injury in 2011, I no longer had the use of my left hand. But I loved PS3 games like Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty (not your typical girly games!), so since my accident I’ve been trying to get my head around using a ‘normal’ playstation controller. It was so frustrating - I just couldn’t do it at all."

"But now that's a thing of the past. I can’t thank Gavin and the team enough for enabling me to get the ‘old’ style me back."

"The problem now is trying to convince everyone that I can’t physically turn it off, so I have keep playing! Some long days and nights to come I feel, and my friends had better start watching out. They’ve been beating me for so long, but now I can get my own back!"

"Thanks sooo much SpecialEffect, I’m so grateful. Not sure everyone else is though!”
