FOCUS on Giving
While the work of SpecialEffect has
a positive, life-changing impact on disabled people all over the world, here in Oxfordshire where we’re based, we enjoy wonderful support from individuals
and businesses. Few more so than from our friends at FOCUS Oxford Risk Management.
FOCUS have supported SpecialEffect since we first met in 2015 in the run up to the Twin Town Challenge event. Since then, they’ve supported us with donations, sponsorship, volunteers and provided our insurance as well as becoming regular Twin Town Challenge participants. Now, Managing Director Nick Jones has come up with a new and innovative way of supporting SpecialEffect by donating 20% of earnings from new insurance policies.
Therefore, if you mention SpecialEffect when you call FOCUS for a new insurance policy, then it will have an immediate positive impact on our work!
"I wanted to find an alternative way of supporting SpecialEffect and this seemed like a great opportunity for our new clients (SpecialEffect supporters) and us to give back and help the charity," said Nick Jones. "From now on, new customers quoting ‘SpecialEffect’ will pay exactly the same as they’d have paid anyway but the money that FOCUS donates from their policy will help SpecialEffect improve the lives of more disabled people."
