Towpath fundraisers in saddlesore success

"One very sore bum" was how David Parish described the aftermath of his epic sponsored cycle ride from Reading to Bristol along the towpath of the Kennet and Avon Canal.

David and two intrepid friends battered and bounced over 100 miles in two days on their way to raising nearly £400 for SpecialEffect.

"I maybe should have taken it a bit more seriously and done more than a single 20 mile training ride," said a rueful David.

Huge thanks to the trio for their efforts, who raised the money for us through our partnership with Reading RFC, who have generously appointed us as a chosen charity this season.
