Born to run

So, a games company events manager, an occupational therapist and an ex-professional footballer all enter a race… no, it’s not a joke, they really have.

Ali Woods of Frontier Developments, our very own Frankie Palmer and ex-Southampton and Oxford United footballer, Steve Basham, are all donning the SpecialEffect colours to run the London Marathon for us on Sunday 28 April.

Ali, Frankie and Steve will be joined by several other runners who are fundraising for SpecialEffect, having won their places through the public ballot system. Please do look out for our London Marathon runners on our social media and join us in wishing them the very best of luck.

You can find out more about all our runners by going to our London Marathon homepage here and clicking through to their individual pages at https://www.justgiving.com/campaigns/charity/specialeffect/londonmarathon2019

And if that's inspired you to take on a physical challenge yourself, we may have something for you on our events calendar… start small by exercising your index finger here.
