SpecialEffect hold world's first corporate challenge

Sort of. We're talking about the inaugural World Corporate Aunt Sally Championship, to be held alongside the world singles event at the renowned Charlbury Beer Festival this coming Sunday.

Teams from across Oxfordshire will be battling it out for a mini trophy and a symbolic box of Cadburys Heroes. And there's still time to enter! Just email marketing@stlcomms.com now. The competition entry fee is a suggested donation of £50 per team, all of which will go to support the charity. It's all thanks to organisers STL Communications!

Aunt Sally, as everyone knows, is the magnificent Oxfordshire pub sport that involves throwing rolling pins at a wooden peg. And just to prove we're not making this up, here's local aficionado David Cameron taking aim:


I'll ask Nick to get some unmissable video footage of the day, which even sees a SpecialEffect staff member or two featuring in the headlining band. Don't be too impressed by by that, though - the band are called the Village Idiots.
