Ahmed takes on Black Ops 4

Is it possible to play Black Ops 4 with a chin joystick, two foot switches and four finger buttons? Ahmed’s taking on the challenge… and hoping to take on his friends again!

"We've been helping Ahmed with his gaming for about three or four years now," explains Joe, one of our specialist OTs who went to see him this week. "He has muscular dystrophy, and the last time we saw him we loaned him a modified Xbox One controller - basically with the sticks and buttons made easier to move, and a switch he could use for sprint when playing FIFA 18 in 2-button mode."

Since then, he's been keen to try a few more games, and was hoping to play COD with his friends again.

"He's got good movement with his bottom lip, and got on really well with a low force left stick which was mapped to act as aiming (right stick). This freed up his fingers, and he got on really well with four ultralight switches positioned on his lap, one which was mapped to act as walk forwards. He's also got good movement in his toes, and so we added a couple of foot switches."

Looking forward to hearing how you get on with the new setup, Ahmed!
