A breathless weekend of amazing fundraisers!

Well that was... one of the busiest and most breathless weekends since lockdown…

Kicking it off early was WKJezz’s Operation Redeye 24hr Elite: Dangerous Livestream which enjoyed Twitch front page on Friday morning. Over 3000 viewers raised £4k with ad-ons! Check out WKJezz on Twitch.

@KEEMSTAR organised a riotous #FallGuysFriday competition with the $5000 winnings donated to us - wow, thank you so much! - then TheAVben took up the baton on Friday night for his 24 hour livestream, calling himself Twitch's Least Known Streamer and celebrating the fact that he’s finally got 5G having been without broadband for over a year! He decided to celebrate with a charity stream for us – how lovely is that? And he raised almost £450 too. Thank you Ben!

Meanwhile Kit Harrison’s Grand Tour 5 hit the streets with his 24 hour stream. Kit is an incredible regular supporter who works at Frontier Developments (of Elite: Dangerous, Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo fame). Kit’s wonderful community helped him add over £800 to his ever-growing fundraising pot. Way to go Kit; we hugely appreciate it.

Before Kit had even finished, Carrumba - another Elite: Dangerous Commander - completed his five-hour stream before announcing his retirement from streaming to concentrate on completing his History degree. A sad farewell, but his viewers raised a whopping £1,111 along the way (Commanders can have a bit of a thing about numbers!). It's looking like a bit of a theme here – the Elite Community is rather incredible!

Hot on the heels of Carrumba was Clappy VonTrappe and The Night Owls’ 10 hour stream on Saturday evening that took us through to the early hours of Sunday morning. With one of the most incredible trailers and an army of 25 streamers, Clappy and the team raised a whopping £2000 with an awesome stream. Laid back chaos and unmissable watching!

And then there was our very own VP Craig Fletcher and his team hosting the World Famous Pub Quiz. Fabulous fun and mayhem, bringing people together virtually for a brainteasing Saturday night in, while raising over £2,500 in the process.

And last but by no means least, EA Dice’s absolute gems Adam & Lee’s PartQuiz Pub Quiz rounded off Sunday evening beautifully. It was the fourth of their monthly quizzes alongside Adam’s daily lunchtime streams, and a whopping £8k has been raised since lockdown. Adam has been bringing people together every day with his welcoming daily streams (where you often get to see his beautiful Bengal cat Robocop!) Make a date in your diary for their next Pub Quiz – Sunday 27th September, you’re guaranteed a great night and Lee’s brilliant dry wit is sure to make you smile.

What a weekend that was! Absolutely sensational and each and every one enormously appreciated. We simply couldn’t do what we do without such generous support.

And as if all that wasn’t enough, steamrollering in the background was the Fall Guys auction...
