Studley Wood to the fore

In 2009 SpecialEffect were lucky enough, along with the charity Maggies Centre, to be a supported charity of Studley Wood Golf Day with SpecialEffect Vice President Barry Yates kindly kindly choosing the charity as one of the two supported causes. The club had an amazing year of fundraising and raised just over £19,000 that was divided between the two causes. Pictured below with the cheque left to right are Ian Darby (Studley Wood Chairman), Sue Blake (Studley Wood Ladies Captain) Sandy Briscoe (Maggies), Mick Donegan (SpecialEffect) and Ken Heathcote (Studley Wood Managing Director) Barry Yates was unable to attend the presentation as happily he became a grandfather for the third time.
