SpecialEffect on the BBC at the marathon!
26 April 2010
SpecialEffect’s first ever London Marathon runners and fundraisers Barrie Ellis and Martin Hayes successfully completed The London Marathon yesterday. Both of their families and friends were out to support them as well as SpecialEffect staff! Barrie had great support from his friend and running partner Andy who were interviewed live on the BBC halfway around the course!
Barrie - www.justgiving.com/kneecruncher - Not only were Barrie’s knee’s crunched but his hips were truly crunched for the cause too that’s got to be worth a few pounds!!
Martin - www.justgiving.com/mazza-marathon - Martin didn’t look like he’d suffered enough yesterday so please donate and put forward your suggestions for Martins next SpecialEffect challenge!!
If Martin, Barrie and Andy have inspired you to get up and do something amazing for SpecialEffect then how about joining the SpecialEffect Amsterdam Marathon or Half Marathon team this October? Contact sally@specialeffect.org.uk
