Special Effect volunteers win national award!
19 February 2009
The SpecialEffect Games Roadshow project for young people with disabilities in Oxfordshire (initially funded by Fox FM and the V Charity) has won the Best IT Volunteering Project (Innovation category) at the National IT Volunteering Awards and a £500 prize! This is a huge boost to such a small charity as we seek to achieve our long-term dream of every disabled child in the world (you can't fault our ambition eh!) being able to play a computer game.
Big congratulations to Mark Allen, our nominated volunteer, and all the team!
