Btrish 10k London Run, 8 July 2012

This popular run on 8 July 2012 follows a fantastic route through London and is a great experience for amateur, intermediate and professional runners. Each year SpecialEffect organises a team of over twenty runners, and offers opportunities to run and train together in the lead up to the event. Fire and Ice Walk, 29 March 2012

Do you have what it takes to walk over a bed of red hot coals and razor sharp broken glass? If you're ready to face the challenge, we're ready to make it possible. This is an inspirational and barrier-breaking experience for all concerned! It's all taking place in Oxfordshire, on the evening of 29 March at Witney Marketplace. All we ask is a £50 registration fee, and that you raise at least £200 for the vital work of the charity. You can find out more information and register for the event here.

 

Walk4Matt, 19-26 May 2012

This is SpecialEffect patron Matt Hampson's fundraising event (of which we are a beneficiary) held this year from 19-26 May, the challenge being a week-long walk along the towpath of the Grand Union canal, accompanied by narrowboats where you will sleep and eat. The walk finishes at the Guinness Premiership Final. You can participate for the week, a day or a weekend and join in with the social events planned during the evenings.
